2d to 3d conversion

Hi,

One of my users is having problems with the 2d to 3d conversion.

When he follows the tutorial for converting a 2d diagram to 3d, the "Layers and Objects Import Options" dialog box does not appear.

When I log in as administrator and to the tutorial,  the dialog box appears.  I've given the user full administrator rights to the computer but the dialog box still does not appear under his login.

I'm not sure what the issue is.  He is running Inventor 2013.

Hi mpatel,

You might check to see that Autodesk DWG TrueView is installed and working properly under the user's profile. Or you might just try uninstalling/reinstalling TrueView:

I think I recall that it must be the 2013 version of TrueView for 2013 Inventor, meaning that if you have 2012 TrueView it will not work.

There is also this (slightly related) :

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Hi Curtis,

Thanks for your prompt reply.  I reintalled trueview as well as followed the steps on the second link but I'm still having the same issue.

thanks,

Metesh.
