2015 SP1-Several broken joints: No way out besides deleting all of them

This is annoying. See screenshot.

If there are more than one Joints broken, only deleting and re-applying helps out. There's no way for accepting a renewed Joint.

Hi! Is this a unique behavior starting from 2015SP1? Could you provide the dataset reproducing the behavior?

Many thanks!

Hi Johnson, I suspect that it's not new with 2015 SP1. I didn't test it with 2014, but I'd expect it there, too.

Try this:

- Open No Joint repair possible.iam. All is ok

- Right click in Browser on igus gsm-0608-06.ipt -> Component -> Replace all -> Select DIN 1850  part

- Accept message by OK

- Accept next window -> Parts are changed, but new orientation

Now try to edit one of the bad Joints. You can't escape without deleting both of them, and doing a new apply.

Walter,

This is a great catch! The behavior is certainly wrong. I have tried it on R2014 and it worked fine. The behavior seems to have started in R2015 RTM, also reproducible on R2015 SP1 unfortunately. I am forwarding it to development for further review.

Many thanks!

Hmm. Product support is asking me, if I'm accepting Johnson's answer as a solution.

I think, I shouldn't do so. Problem is recognized, but not solved.
