2015 Home Screen "Drawing" button

When I clcik on the "Drawing" button on the new panel, I get "....Standard.dwg was not found".

I dont have a "Standard.dwg" template there.  Is there a way to have this point to my "standard" idw template?

I can click on the "More Templates" and browse to the one that I want, but that is more clicking and searching.

Kirk,

This is controlled by the setting in Tools, App Options, Drawings. Change it from .dwg to .idw & then it will automatically look for Standard.idw.

Now it looks for the "Standard.IDW".  My "Standard" template is names something other than "Standard.idw".  Is there a way to point Inventor to use that file when I click the Drawing button?

No, they will always look for Standard.

If you have other names then you'll need to use File, New dialog, or the drop down menu from the "I" icon.
