2013 BOUNDARY PATCH SELECTION NOT VISIBLE

when using the boundary patch command, placing your mouse over a sketch profile highlights the area, after it has been selected and clicked on the highlighted selection turn clear, so I cant tell if it has been selected or not. the command still works, but knowing what you have selected is difficult. once the command is finished, then you can see the surface which is transparent.

Hi! This is a great catch! It seems to happen on sketch loop selection. The preview of the patch surface is not shown, which is wrong. I am sending it to development for further review.

Many thanks!

@johnsonshiue I realize this is a really old thread, but was this ever fixed?

I notice when creating boundary patches the first selection stays highlighted, but subsequent selections do not. It gets confusing trying to remember witch selections you have made.

Hi Andrew,

I am embarrassed to say that this has not been fixed. I would not say this is a common workflow though. It is powerful when you fill in a lot of holes. The current behavior is certainly wrong. Let me work with the project team to see how we can address it.

Many thanks!

Glad to hear they are on top of things! Like most things we just hope for the next version.
