Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. When you go to the Appearance Browser and go to our custom appearances, some of the thumbnails don't match what the appearance is actually set to. If you open up/edit the appearance it shows the correct appearance, but the thumbnail isn't displayed correctly. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Bruce,
Can you tell us if this is a migrated material library?
If so, what version did you migrate it from?
Is your factory library correct?
Thank you.
Yes. migrated from 2102 to 2013. Default libraries seem to be fine.
Bruce,
I am pretty sure that you will need to remigrate you library.
I think something when wrong.

Having issues remigrating. Says unable to create library file:
Bruce,
Rename your existing library and then create a new library.
This way you can at least go back to what you had if it went even worse.
We are not anticipating this but there is no need to take chances.
Please send me an update.
Thank you.
Hmm, that didn't work. At this point I'm probably going to try just re-creating them in 2013. There aren't that many so it won't be that bad.
I may have stumbled upon what is going on. In trying to recreate these appearances, I now get this error trying to name it: "Invalid input. The name cannot contain any of the following characters: \/:*?'<>|,`;=
If you look at all the ones having thumbnail problems, they all have / contained in the name.
Is there a reason that / was a valid character in 2012, but now it's not?
