2012 IDW sheets not updating display when changing between

Hi all

having issues with IDW's, I have a simple file with maybe 6 sheets, sometimes when working in the file adding dimensions and other detailing tasks, when I change between sheets the display keeps the image of the sheet I was working on and will not update to the current sheet, I must close the file and re open it befor I can work on the file.

I hope I have explained this well enough.

Hi! This behavior is new to me. Could you attach files showing this behavior or send them to me via secure upload? I can set up a secure account for you to upload. Please send me an email if you are ready to share the files.

Thanks!

Hi

I doubt its the file, I worked on it a bit today with no issue.

Is there a way to capture inventors data at the time of the issue?

Could a video card lend to this behavior?

Thanks

Thaddeus

Do you see green brackets around the views when you made the switch? The green brackets actually show that the views are still being computed but some of the annnotation capability is available. This is a new feature added to R2012 to allow drafting quickly.

Thanks!

No, it actually fooled me a few times, thought it had switched between sheets, just couldnt do anything, tried waiting, but that didnt help.

The detail sheets were pretty simple, I suspect it is not a computing issue.

I have had it hold onto the image of a IPT file with the current tab being an IDW file.

The problem in chasing this is it is random, cant make it fail on command.

Thanks

I had the same issue.

For some reason or other, the "Software Graphics" option was enabled.

After disabling this option, everything came right.

Reg.

David

I unchecked the software check box, I'll see if that is it.

Thanks for the suggestion
