2009 Bolted Connection Lengths

New to Inventor, had 2008 and in bolted connection I could select different lengths, but in 2009 I seem to be limited to one length, just able to choose either coarse or fine thread. Am I missing something?
TIA

Hello,

You can change the length of the screw in an assembly document in the 3D
preview if you use either Drag&Drop method over a red arrow in the bolt
preview or hold 'Alt' key and click on the three dots button to invoke the
Modify length dialog.

Pavel,
he is new so it would help if you supplemented your statement with some screen shots.
Normally, it is a great help.

Thanks for the reply. The Alt does the trick for getting to the custom lengths. I am putting in a bolted connection using a point and choosing a blind hole. If I edit an existing bolted connection and choose a different length of connector the existing hole and thread length created by the original connection have to be updated manually, correct?
Thanks

Hello,

Yes, it is correct. If you change the Bolt length, then the bolt has a
custom length and the Bolted Connection does not react to this custom
change. So, the hole is not updated.
