setting to make fusion smoother?

im on a hp workstation xeon cpu @ 2.67 ghz win7 64 with 6 gigs of ram. and im only building small parts in fusion and man the orbiting and command acknowledgement is SUPER SLOW I checked the recommened specs and i meet them. so why is my machine so slow? what is everyone else using I would hate it if i had to make something more complex and just not be able to work it. is there maybe a setting im missing on making fusion smoother?

I also noticed that Fusion is considerably slower than Inventor Pro. I am using a high end MacBook Pro (i7, 8GB RAM, etc.) I used Inventor Pro on a lower end computer and it is much smoother. I also used Pro on a Mac using Parallels and it was smoother.....
