Inventor Fusion

Why can’t Inventor Fusion save an imported STP file as a Inventor part?

This is an installation and network licensing forum.  Please post this in the appropriate Inventor forum for better results.

I don't normally browse this forum, but isn't this where you would post question about Inventor Fusion?

There is a separate Installation and Licensing forum here;

Hi,Cholte,

Many thanks for bringing up the issue. Are you using Inventor Fusion 2013? Officially, Inventor Fusion 2013 supports to export file to like DWG, SAT and other file formats,  not support to export to ipt file. But Fusion has the integration workflow with Inventor.So user can edit Inventor files in Fusion, then back to Inventor to continue editting.

Hope this helps.

Wendy
