Inventor Fusion Virtual Topologie

Is it possible to simbly models with virtual topologie by using inventor Fusion? What I mean is, is it possible for example to suppress edges to simplify the model that it´s easier for the mesher to create the mesh?

Have you tried the Simplify command? It can remove constant radius fillets, chamfers with equal leg lengths, and holes. Simplify doesn't analyze the model, so you need to have features in the browser. If you don't have features, you can use the Feature Recognition command to identify model features. Both commands are on the Manage panel.

You can also use Delete. It will remove the selected faces and heal the body by extending the neighboring faces. Delete is on the Solids panel. Delete Face is on the Surfaces panel, and it will just remove the face so you can create new geometry.

Here is a screenshot on what the Delete command can do for you.

It is extremely powerful in combination with the Protrusion or Depression selection filters.

The only thing to be aware of is that the Delete command is working kind of backwards.
You first select the geometry you want to work with and only THEN you select the Delete command.
