Inventor Fusion R1 cannot open Solidworks Part Files (.sldprt)

Hi,

I tried opening a Solidworks Part file in Inventor Fusion R1 but nothing appears on the screen. Please refer to the attached image for what appears on my screen.

Can someone please help me with this?

I've attached a download link for the Solidworks Part file since this forum does not allow for .sldprt file uploads.

Thank you.

Can you zip the file and attach the zip file?

I came to this thread because I am having the same trouble opening a sldprt file in Fusion.  When I try to open my part, nothing shows in Fusion.  It will open fine in Inventor 2013.

I attached my file below as a zip fle.

Thanks for posting. I got the same results. This will be sent to development for evaluation. What version of solidworks does this file come from?

Have you tried working directly with this part in Inventor? Or exporting this as a .sat or .step file out of Inventor? I tried that and it opens fine in Inventor Fusion 2013.

Phil,

That is the route that I took.... sldprt > inventor 2013, save as .ipt > Fusion 2013.

No idea what version solidworks file this is.
