What is a good method to model such a Truss?

Hi,

I'm not sure how to model this (see picture below).

the problem is that I do not know how to place all those little bars inbetween the long big ones.

Especially such that the little bars nicely stop at the surface of the big bars.

I need a nice connection between the bars for a correct simulation.

Any advice is welcome.

Skeletal modeling if you don't want to deal with gazillions of the same parts produced by Frame Generator.

Think you want to know how to model the small tubes so that it fits properly. Just model it! Model a tube and make a cut extrude with the geometry of the large bars (first create a plane at the right angle of course). You can mate the cut surface and the big bar. Pattern the components as needed, use a skeleton if you like.

Thanks all,

Maybe it is not so difficult as I expected 🙂
