Threaded part shows thru in shaded mode

Problem:
The threaded tubing in the attached view should NOT
be exposed within the outer tube. Note that the threaded tube is correctly
positioned in the parent IPN file.

Also, the threads look fine (are hidden by the outer pipe) when 'hidden
line' or 'hidden line removed' is
selected. It's only showing incorrectly in 'shaded mode'.

Is there a solution for this problem from Autodesk or is it a bug?
Otherwise, I cannot use the view in Shaded mode since it's shown
incorrectly.

Think it's too far away from the origin. You could go to the ipt and see
where it is in relation to the origin. It probably should be constrained to
it. There are several other post on this topic.

Larry,

I checked the .IPT file of the threaded part & it's sketch is constrained to
the origin as is all the parts close by. Do you mean that every part in the
asy has to be constrained at the origin?

I looked at the other posts in the NG but they weren't much more helpful on
this question.

You need to make sure that the parts are constrained near the origin too.
