Stitching Surface doesn't make solid

Hello, I'm trying to create a solid from some surfaces but once I do a stitch, the results are still just surfaces, translucent and orange. I can change the color and everything but the part still seems hollow with some weird surface issues. The light doesn't reflect correctly and looks corrupt or something?.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

yeah that looks right but how can you maintain it as an ipt rather than stp? also what was your process?
