Did you have to uninstall the original version on your old machine

You are allowed to have a copy on your usual work machine and also a copy on a home machine or laptop. you are not supposed to use both copies at the same time, ie 2 for the price of 1...

take a look at the licence agreement or search this site for second license

I have a copy at work and a copy on my old machine but wish to relinquish the copy on the old machine to the new machine so still maintaining a single home usage. Thanks for advice I have contacted reseller and they will sort it out

Use the Portable Licence Utitlity to transfer the license from the "old" workstation to the new one.

I had the exact same issue - after installing it on new machine, use the
phone (If I remember correctly, the toll free number appears on the
authorization page.) . Simply call that number with your info ready as you
actually get to talk to a real live person very fast. They will email you a
new code.
