Fail to Export To Desel Table (ipart creation)

This happen on Inventor Pro 2009.
When I try create ipart, the message 'Fail to Export To Desel Table' appears. But, other machine doesn't have this problem.

Any ideas what's going on?

Thank you,
Edwin

Edwin,

Is this for any iPart on that machine or a particular one? If a particular
iPart, can you send it to me? richard.willis@autodesk.com

Thanks,
Rich Willis (Autodesk)

Edwin,

Next question(s), what are the specs for you machine and the others? What
version of Office (Exel)? Also, you get the error when you have entered all
the data in the iPart Author dialog and click OK, correct?

Rich,

Correct. I get the error after klik OK at the iPart author dialog.

The machine specs is HP XW 4400, Windows XP 64bit. We don't have MS Office application installed on that machine.
Is Excel required to create Ipart? How can we make sure, before we purchase a license of Office?

The other machine is an old P IV with WinXP 32bit and Office 2003 installed.

Best regards,
Edwin

HP XW 4400, Windows XP 32bit.
So I guess, we have to install excel to correct this problem?

Rich,

Sorry for the late reply. We have installed Excel, and now it's working as expected.

Thanks,
