Extrude Cut Fail

Hello ,

I placed a sketch between two lugs. Projected lug outline to sketch and placed a dia. Trying to extrude a cut through both lugs but only one will cut. Using FROM & TO in EXTRUDE.

It s a Multibody part.

Hello @p_parker,

In the extrude command, you have to select the second solid body that you want to extrude through. I am using inventor 2021, so I've added three screenshots to help step you through solving your issue.

1) create your extrude again with the direction going both ways, and through all.

2) select your cut as your Boolean option.

3) Click the Solids box to add the second solid body that also needs to have the extrude cut applied.

I'll reply again with the solved model just in case you can open it.
