Export PDF error - Failed to publish DWF file

Hi,

Where having issues at my work with exporting pdf's.

At one workstation when trying to create a PDF it gives an error saying "failed to publish DWF file"

It does create a PDF file but its completely empty.

I'v tried to repair inventor, replace the dll files in the bin folder, reinstall dwg trueview and some other settings.

Is there some setting that where overlooking?

Oh and the problem only occurs when creating a PDF from a drawing, not from a part or assembly.

Thanks in advance

Hi! Does it happen to one machine only or more than one machine? Does it fail on any drawing or specific drawings? Do you have any system application blocking certain processes to proceed?

Many thanks!

Hi,

It only happens in one account, in a different account on the same machine there's no issue.

So if i'm correct it's some sort of setting in his account that is off.

It's not drawing specific. I've tried .idw and .dwg, they both fail.

As far as i know there aren't any system application blocking certain processes to proceed.

Is there a way to check this?

Also the account has the same administrative rights as others.

If it's any help i'll attach the pc and inventor specs.

Thanks in advance

Hi! I suspect this is probably user profile related. You could try right-clicking on the Inventor icon -> Run as Administrator. Does it help?

Many thanks!

Hi,

I hadden't tried that yet, but unfortunately this doesn't fix the issue.

Hi! Does this machine have some sort of process like anti-virus or something like that controlling what executables are allowed to be launch?

Many thanks!

@wouter

One option since this works when a different Windows user logs in is that the user might have a partially corrupt Windows User Profile.

You can usually resolved this with the Inventor Reset Utility:

Please try this and let us know.

No obtuve solución.
