.ckd Files from Cadkey

I was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with .ckd files from customers or vendors before? If so, how did you go about converting or importing the file? Even getting a free viewer is proving to be difficult. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Edited by: dbrandon@jennmar.com on Nov 19, 2009 8:39 AM

They are from CADKEY Workshop... which supports these file types:

"Includes the industry’s most comprehensive range of data translators
including DWG, DXF™, IGES, STEP, ACIS-SAT, Parasolid /X_T, and STL! "

So, the files will need to be opened in Workshop and translated into an
Inventor compatible format.

You can down load a free version of
Cadkey, it's not up to much but it will convert the files.
