Adaptable part

Is there a way to have one adaptable part used a few times in the assembly and adapt differently each time? I need a piece of piping to change length in three instances. Am I on right track of getting this done, or there is a different feature for this. I don’t have Inventor professional so using piping feature is not applicable.

No. An adaptive part can only adapt once (i.e. in one way)--since once it
is adapted, the actual part is changed.

Frame generator might have did the trick (I didn't know it does piping too- the description does not do it justice.)

An adaptive part can adapt only once in an assembly or in another active
assembly all parts will reflect the same change. Look to iParts or
Content center components.
