I know this is a long shot but I was wondering if anyone is using Siemens Teamcenter with ETO/Intent created Inventor models? Looking for pros & cons. Also, would be interested if anyone is using another PLM / bill of material authoring tool with good result.
Judging by the (lack of) responses, I guess the answer is no! I'd be surprised if anyone does get it going given that the actual Intent files dynamically change depending on your rules. I would guess that you'd use ETO to build a design, create a rule to build/export a BOM - keeping the model in ETO as a kind of "design template". I did spot a "de-intentify" button that seems to give you a code-free clean Inventor model that you could put into a PLM type system. I may also be missing the point because I'm very new to ETO 🙂
