How to drive colors

The  IvAdoptedPart parameter color drives the color of a part in the assembly environment.

The color of the part itself does´nt change.

I was able to solve this issue with the help of ILogic.

Is there an easier way to do that?

Thanks

Mathias

Hi Mathias,

The alternative is to use "MaterialName" Rule.

You might need to create a set of Inventor Materials sufficient for your needs.

The MaterialName is included into default signature, for the instance IPTs generation sake.

Hovever, if the "Color" Rule is specified on the Part, it will win over the MaterialName value.

Thank you,
