Hi there
Trying to open a large file I receive the following fatal error message:
I translated the error message, this it what it says:
###
Fatal error
The application has applied/ used the maximum allowed memory (1024 MB) to cancel/ withdraw actions/ processes. You have to increase the maximum allowed size to enable cancelling the current action. Do you want to increase the maximum allowed data size for the cancellation of actions?
###
Do I have any influence on the maximum allowed memory for the cancellation af actions?
In the "intent.config" data I set "EnableUndoSupport" to 0, but nothing changed, the fatal error still occurs.
Looking forward to your support and greetings from Switzerland

Corina:
I have never seen this error, and it does not come from ETO. I have some questions, and will try to look into it.
0. What versions are in use here?
1. How big is the file you are trying to open?
2. Does this happen in Inventor without ETO running?
Jack -
0. I use Inventor Professional 2013.
1. The files I try to open are 400 kB and 2.400 kB - but they are ETO files, so you can only see their actual size after opening & saving, isn't it?
2. No, I run Inventor and ETO.
Jack,
Did you have a closer look into the subject and/ or do you have any suggestions or further questions?
Best regards
Corina
No, I have no new information on this. We will need to try to replicate it in house to make progress. Can you create a case with ADN Support?
There is a setting in Inventor under Tools->Application Options for the Undo File Size. I believe it defaults to 1024MB and you can adjust it up to 4GB (4095MB I think).
