Deployment to client

Hi,

I'm trying to deploy my application written in ETO 2015 to a client. I use (like always) the ETO install builder wizard and I run the resulting setup.exe on the client. But when I try to open an ETO assemby, the ETO addin on the client is not loaded and I don't have any ETO functionality.

This procedure has always worked for me in the past, did something changed or did I overlooked something ?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

you said the procedure has always worked in the past, which ETO version did you use in the past, ETO 2015 or ETO 2014?

Hi Mark,

I believe this is an issue that was reported to Autodesk Engineering.

Can you confirm that you are not using OEM?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi Mark,

If you are not deploying using Inventor OEM, this is a konwn issue as Wayne said, which was fixed by ETO 2015 SP1. Please install SP1 to try the process.
ETO 2015 SP1: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-engineer-order/learn-explore/caas/downloads/content/i...

If you are using OEM, some files might be missed being copied to proper location. I will further check after your confirmation.

Hi,

I can confirm that I do not use Inventor OEM, but Inventor Professional. I've installed SP1 on my development PC and generated a new client setup via 'ETO install builder wizard ' but resulted into the same result, intent is still not available on my client PC.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

I am having the same issue with an ETO deployment. What did you do to fix it?
