I am trying to do the following in 4.3.523
Rule blah As Any = System.Environment.UserName() Rule blah2 As Any = System.Environment.Select()
blah is OK.
blah2 is throwing a compile error and will not save. This is happening in both designs and functions.
Farren, I have reproduced this in the latest build of ETO 2012 and logged the issue as INT-1451.
Just for grins I tried working around it using EvaluateString() to get out of Design Editor (as it has it's own error checking), but it still failed to parse when I evaluated the rule. I don't have a workaround at this point.
Farren,
We just closed this As Designed. Select is a keyword in Intent language and VB, for Select Case. You'll have to use another name for your method.
