Workplane visibility within clientfeature

Hi,

Is there anyway to completely hide a workplane that is contained within a clientfeature?

The attached part shows this when you hover over the client feature in the browser. I have the visibility of the plane turned off but it still shows up when the clientfeature is pre-selected.

Thanks for your help.

Try creating the workplane as construction: use argument Construction = True when you create the workplane.

This, of course, only applies if you are creating the workplane through API.

Philippe.

That did the trick! Is that what that argument is for? What are the other uses of contruction work features?

Thanks,

-Thomas

Construction workfeatures can only be accessed through the API, they are completely hidden from the UI, for any reason you may think of.

Can construction work features be projected?

You would need to give a try 🙂 I've never tried it myself...
