Scale Surfacebody with API?

Hi there,

is it somehow possible to scale a SurfaceBody? TransformBy() obviously does not work.

A RangeBox is too large for complex geometries.

Best regards

Erik

Hi Erik,

If you want to permanently change the size of a component you created then I think that could only be done in a way that would show up as a feature in the product.

One thing that comes to mind, which is not API specific, is using Derive part - Manage [tab] >> Insert [panel] >> Derive.

There you can set the scale.

It might be worth asking this on the product forum as well if there is another product feature that could be useful.

If you just want to see a double sized version of the geometry then transient graphics might be able to help.

Would need to double-check that.

Cheers,
