rgs file for AddIns

When using the wizard to create Inventor AddIns a file with extension rgs is created too.

What is its purpose?

Hi,

it is redundant. just ignore it. here is a blog which introduces how to migrate old addin to registry-free addin. It would be helpful if you are wondering what are neccessary elements with registry-free addin in C++.
