Programmatically set "visualization attachment options" in Inventor

Is there a way to programmatically set the "visualization attachment options" in the vault addin inside of Inventor?  We have 100 users that have it enabled and we'd like to turn it off for all of them.

Unfortunately that add-in doesn't expose an API.

Is the setting in the registry? Maybe an Excel file?  Another option...can we set it in the deployment?

Not that I know about. If there is, it's undocumented and unsupported, so hard to find out.
