Ipart with a model and family members

Hello to all.

I have an Ipart that i would like to make like this.

I have a model, and then the family tree.

in my model i have the flange with the biggest outer diameter and without holes.

the children will have the correct flange standards.

currently i can't see the model only the family table, and i need the model and model drawing to order from supplier and then machine in house.

could someone help me.

Thnaks

If I understand your question correctly, you would create all of the features that would pertain to your "flange standards" within the factory model. The table would then control the visibility, size, quantities, ect.. of said features.

Does this make sense?

Hej

Thanks for the reply

Kind off, but not exactly.

the mother part (1404-164) is the model that i will pick and the machine to standard (child) (1404-164-1).

but i need to have the "mother" drawing and model.

saying this way:

1 - I select flange size "mother" go to warehouse and pick - base flange with no holes and larger outer diameter and Raise face

2 - then I machine according to standard (holes, outer diameter, and removal of raise face (depending the standard)).

those this makes sense?

Thanks to all replies.

Sofia,

I think that if I am reading this correctly you will need to add an iPart Member as a pre-machined size(s) and then select that iPart Member from the Model State Tab when placing the Base View.

Please try this and let us know if it does not do what you are trying to do.

Thank you.
