iLogic Rule or VBA Routine to Rename Inventor files in Vault

I started this thread in the Inventor forum, but ir was suggested to me to try and post it here.

Please see attached link for the explaination of what I am looking for.

Hi,

 

I do not know if there is an existing code here or there, but it looks you wanted to do some "Copy Design". If yes, I'd recommend this free application (with source code) at:

 http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/hierarchyclone/

 

This application can be used to copy and rename Inventor IAM/IDW/DWG file along with any files it references (including substitute parts and OLE references). It is provided in two formats, either plugin or standalone EXE. Hope it helps.
