ilogic insert drawing format

I would like to use ilogic to place a sheet format onto an idw...  I am not simply wanting to put the right border and title block on, I have a number of sketched symbols that also make up the sheet format in the drawing resources and I would like to choose one of them

Thanks but I dont think so.  I have a number of sheet formats setup in my template, different sizes, different sketched symbols etc, I just want to be able to create a new sheet choosing one of these sheet formats using ilogic

Hi Stephen,

I have some VBA code which I use to delete the existing border and title block from an existing drawing and replace them (as well as sketch symbols) from a defined template (as well as updating the documents styles to match my local styles)

The code was initially created by someone at my parent company so some of it I don't quite understand but I managed to manipulate it to do what I needed it for.  Hope this may be as some use to you!

When it gets to the part where the file location of the template is specified, you could add a pop-up box where you then have a selection between the different templates you want to be able to choose from.

thanks but it looks like a bit of overkill and setup involved.  sheetformat is a standard inventor object but I cant find out how to reference it
