How to view Design tracking Properties

Hello,

Is there any way to view all the attributes/properties under 'Design tracking properties' through Inventor GUI?

I can access those properties through API, but I want to check them through GUI.

I tried with Manage->Design Assistan and Design Assistant->Tools->Reports->Properties, but I am not able to view all the design tracking properties that I get through API.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks and Best Regards,

Vaibhav

The Inventor user interface does not provide access to all iProperties.  It has a defined list of iProperties that are displayed in the iProperties dialog plus it displays all properties that exist within the user-defined property set which is shown on the "Custom" tab in the iProperties dialog.  Any properties added to any other property set besides the user-defined set or any properties sets you create will not be displayed in the user interface.

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the information!

I do observe that that some 'Design tracking prioperties' can be viewed through iProperties dialog.

I am more interested in properties having GUID/UUID values such as Part Revision, Part Type, External Part Revision. These are not seen through the iProperties dialog.

It is seen that 'Part Revision' value changes every time I open Inventor part. Is this expectedbehaviour?

Is  there any way this (i.e. change in property value) can be stopped?

Thanks and Best Regards,
