Do you want to do this using the API (Macro or Addin) I'm not sure as your question is a bit vague? If not you have posted in the wrong forum. You would have had a faster response in the General Inventor questions forum.

If you want to do so using the API just tell me and I'll have a look for you.

If not and you just want to be able to section Design accelerator components manually then you can either:

Method 1:

* Change selection priority from "Edge Priority" to "Part Priority".

* Select your part to be sectioned.

* Right Click mouse button on the part.

* Select the "Section Participation" expanding menu and change section from "None" to "Section".

Method 2:

* Using the browser tree on the left, Right Click mouse button on the part.

* Select the "Section Participation" expanding menu and change section from "None" to "Section".

Method 3:

Note: This will section all parts and override the previous methods if used.

* Right Click mouse button of the Section View & Click on View Properties (or just double click on the section view)

* Under the display options tab there is a drop down box that is labelled "Section Standard Parts"

* Change the value from "Obey Browser Settings" to "Always"

Hope this helps.

Regards, Matt
