Content Library

Does anyone have a clear explanation showing how to add more into the content library in verison 8. The help files are confusing. Do I need to make a new server to do this? Help on this would be very helpful.

Are you trying to do this programmatically? If not, you would be better off asking this
question in the Inventor.7 newsgroup

Just follow the appropriate link below.

I am not concerned where I ask the question. I am concerned on how to do this. And which way to do it. If it can be done programmatically then we can have an answer in this area. If I knew the best way to do this or how to I would not have asked the question. But the Inventor help file (Edited by Moderator).

Sir -

Moderators are here to help you get the best possible answer as
quickly as possible. If you don't care to ask in the newsgroup
designed for those who use that software version, you will
probably not get answers!

That is acceptable, on the condition of if I am to be able to customize it to my needs, and I do not know how to customize it (which way that is either through programmatically or using the program itself) how can I ask the question in the correct discussion area. Also since it is a inventor 8 question and there is no inventor 8 discussion group it makes it much harder to ask this question in the correct place.

Back to my question, is it possible and how do i do it(using vba or inventor or other) add a new library path that is pointing or connected to parts that i have created?

To the best of my knowledge it isn't currently possible. You have to continue using
iParts in the normal manor.
