changing thread depth from distance to full length

Guys,

I have a number of parts that have a external thread feature which extends to a certain length. I need to change these to be full length threads.

I would like to write a external ilogic rule to change these parts.

When i look in the API  thread feature object members i see a Public Method SetThreadDepth and a Public Properties FullDepth

If FullDepth is set to True then the thread feature is full length.

Can anyone suggest how i write the ilogic rule?

thanks

Hi,

What is an external thread feature?

Finding those components is what you need help with?

Best thing is to poke around in VBA and its Watches Window:

Hi Adam Nagy,

I know this topic was old, but I haven't solution for my problem.

How to do change FullThreadDepth=True into False, that thread length still working.

Currently, I change to False then thread length doesn't work.

Could you please help me for this.

Thanks,

Thong

I think it's the same issue as you described in https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-customization/inventor-vba-set-thread-depth/m-p/9417081, so let's continue there
