2014 64 bit VBA crashing on program launch randomly

My users are reporting that 2014 64 bit VBA crashes on program launch randomly.

I have 12 to 14 apps written in VBA.  Randomly they crash when the user trys to run them.

Sometimes they load and work fine other times they crash inventor without reporting an error.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I'm from the Technical support Group for Inventor and I tracked down this missing link ( http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/visio-help/HV080353032.aspx) and whether it had relevance to Inventor.

We had a similar logged case that created a CER with the responses to that link above. The link pointed to a Microsoft Visio solution that is no longer available (we all know that part). It seems it also didn't have any relevance to Inventor either, hence the support case created that was linked to it. The case mentioned at that time being able to connect to the link and it didn’t address the issue. I did some looking on the Microsoft site but couldn’t find equal or similar solution so I could validate it.

For Inventor 2014 the issue seem to be addressed by have all the service packs and updates applied and the issue went away for that particular client.

I will try to track down who controls the CER link and have it removed.

I have several computers here that are running 2014 Inventor with SP2 and Update 5 - We still have the issue with Inventor crashing because the macros are not loaded prior to doing any work.  As I said before, if we load the macros by using a keyboard alias to load a macro form then close the form prior to opening any parts or assemblies, then Inventor is stable and will not crash.  But if the user forgets to initiate the keyboard alias, he/she has a 50% chance as to if Inventor will crash.

I had the same problem on my inventor. I was working on Tube and Pipe run module and i was running a script to delete the piping segments from my model. But some time when i tried to open my VBA editor the inventor crashed. So what i did was i opened inventor and before opening that particular model file i opened VBA editor and then i loaded my model file. Then i ran the code and all worked well. So ultimately it solved my problem.
