Windows 8.1 update broke Maya 2014 student

My computer reacently was updated to windoes 8.1 and now im getting a licence error whenever i try and open it. I've removeing all the files and re installed but nothing seems to work.

Uninstall Maya, Reboot and Reinstall Maya.
