Windows 8.1 and autocad lt 2014 - compatibility

With most new computers having windows 8.1, when will Autodesk do something about getting Autocad LT 2014 to be compatible with a fix?

The software is expensive enough without having to upgrade all the time.

 

Considering other alternatives to this.

 

Any ideas anyone?

They don't pre-announce possible future fixes but they have LT2015 approved for Win8.1 if you are needing a 100% guarantee.

Note that many users seem to function with LT2014 in Win8.1 just fine, some don't obviously. Same can be said for LT2015 and LT2013 so go figure.
