windows 7 64 bit install

i am a student. i downloaded and installed several autodesk software for the student 36 month trial, 3ds max, maya, motion builder, softimage, and sketch book pro. they work great but i can no longer install or remove programs in my windows 7 control panel / programs and features. i get an error when i try. also my cyberlink BD suite does not work anymore. i can not update it or uninstall and reinstall. some how the autodesk install process may have corrupted my windows 7 installers 5 and 4.5. if there is no other way i may have to format and reimage my system. can you help? will i have trouble downloading it again to use from my student account

Did you try to repair the windows installer itself ?

yes i did but i get the same errors. i think the autodesk installer i downloaded caused the problem. if i could just get where i could install/uninstall i'd be ok. on xp you can just go download the xp installer and reinstall it but i can not find the windows 7 64 bit installers to save my life.

there are some tips here

If you search on Autodesk support you will find uninstaller script for some Autodesk products.

Also there are some installer clean up utility available online, we don't endorse or support these tools.
