Will my student license Maya be safe if I reinstall Windows?

I've been having problems with Windows, so I plan on backing up my programs and reinstalling Windows. Will my Maya student license be safe? Is there any special treatment I should know of?

You can use the PLU to export it if you'd like.  But ultimately, you should be able to reactivate after reinstallation of your OS.  Good Luck!
