you can try

if it doesn't it doesn't work

Autodesk will not provide any fixes for it

2006 came out years before Win 7 came out

you can search this forum or a search engine for tips on how to run older software on a newer OS

The licensing service is known to fail on Windows 7, so even if you do get it to install and launch, you will likely not be able to activate it.  Windows 7 supports Autodesk 2010 and newer.  Anything released before that is unsupported.
