where is acad.err written when you crash a network deployed autoacad?

I'm trouble-shooting some environment issues, and wondered this one outloud.
Does it write the error log to the location of the autocad executable, or
the start in path specified in the short-cut?
Any insight here is solicited

I'm not completely sure about A2K because of MDI, but older versions (R12,
probably R13 and R14 as well) wrote the acad.err to the current directory.
If you had a drawing open in c:\cad\mydwgs\ and your start path was
c:\acadwin\ the acad.err file would be written to c:\cad\mydwgs\

Hope this helps.

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
