what user directories-files can be share

I want to move from Land desktop 2005 to Civil 3 D.
I have standalong workstations, and one non cadd-workstation which I save the drawing.

I know that civil 3d place files are placed under user name in the D&S, and all users, I would like to move them.
Which directoris MUST remain on standalong workstation, and which can be on the network.

I do want the CUI and program to remain on the standalong workstation, but the rest I would like to share

Are there any documents on this.

Look in options under Files tab. Any of the user directories in that list can be redirected to any location. This is basic CAD networking.
Make a profile for those new locations. There is more you can do with the profiles to share with others. Look it up in your help files.
