When installing the VBA enabler in Windows 7 x64 and 2010 Mechanical, the installer doesn't recognize that Autocad is installed. I read several discussions about this with no resolution. What exactly is the enabler looking for to tell it the Acad is installed?
I have been successful installing the enabler on certain setups, but not others. I think it might have something to do with the method of acad installation. The computers that are problematic have been setup with a copied image and use a license server.
I have used the suggested method for enterprise enviroment installation of the enabler. Autocad still doesn't recognize that the enabler is installed. I've combed through the registry. Nothing seems to stick out except the VBA enabler installed key.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your assumption is correct, the Autocad installation method used would the key reason for the failure of VBA Install.
When it is scripted the GUIDs are not updated properly. (All Documented process using setup.exe should update the GUID properly)
If you do an interactive AutoCAD installation this can be fixed.
