Valid License could not be obtained

I recently moved the license server to a different computer.  I have no problem getting the license from other client workstations.  However, I cannot run Inventor from the computer that is running the license server.  I get the following error "Valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager" Error [-15.570].  We were previously running the license server and application from the same computer.

If your OS is Vista or Windows 7 and using IPv6 then this is likely the issue.  You need to make a hosts file change so that your localhost is pointing to an IPv4 like 127.0.0.1 instead of :1.
