Use batch file to copy customisation files to user machine?

I want to automate the import of a settings customisation file through the use of a batch file.  I have extracted the zip file created when you export settings and using xcopy I am able to copy them to the relevant folders on the new deployment.

I have one issue though.  We have some files in the settings folder which are from a network location referenced in the file options.  When the settings are imported what is the process that happens to these files?

Is this process a feasible way to configure a ACAD Mech 2011 deployment with company settings?

Thanks,

Guy
