Upgrade

I had just order 3ds Max 2012 64bit on the 12th of March of this year, and then 2013 came out right after that.  IS there anyway I can upgrade to the newest version without having to pay so much?

It's called Subscription.  You should consider it.  Had you been on Subscription, you would have been provided 2013 automatically and 2014 next year.  Also, the upgrade is cheaper than buying a new seat. You might contact your reseller to see if there are any promotions.
