Uninstalling Maya 2013 from mac to install 2011 version

Hi, 

For some reason I need to install Maya 2011 and work with it but I already have Maya 2013 on my mac. Do I need to uninstall my student version of Maya 2013 completely and install the 2011 one? Or it would not be necessary to uninstall the 2013 one?

Autodesk products install independently.  Assuming that you have a valid 2011 license, you should be able to install it.  Good luck.
