Unable to install

Hello, 

 

I've been having issues attempting to install both 3DS Max and Maya on my computer. I get the error message "Installation complete. Some products did not install". I'm using the student edition of both version and haven't had issues setting up my accounts or recieving my product keys/serial numbers. 

 

I am using an iMac that Bootcamped into Windows 8, in case that might have anything to do with this error. 

 

Here is the log I get for Maya: Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

 

I attempted to uninstall the 2012 C++ framework and that didn't work.

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable ATL Security Update (x64) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603

 

Check to see where your %TEMP% folder is going.  It may need changed.  The failure is on the prerequisite installation.  So once that is fixed, the rest of your installation should go.

So I uninstalled the Redistributables (All of them) and also created a C:\\Temp folder but I'm still having issues with 3ds Max install. I followed the instructions/suggestions in the post you linked but didn't come out on top. I searched for %Temp% and found it to be located in C:\Users\BioGears\AppData\Local\Temp. I'll repost the error again to see if it's different.
